Ffos Las Racecourse was awarded the ICE Wales Chairman’s Special Award for Sustainability at the Annual Dinner Ceremony on Friday 7th May 2010.

Walters UK, as principal contractor, submitted Ffos Las for the ICE Wales awards on behalf of the project team which included the Ffos Las Ltd (Client) and Powel Dobson (Lead Architect). WUK managed the design and construction of the racecourse facility and associated infrastructure works.

This adds to the following awards already secured by the Project:

• Racegoers Association – Best “Small” Racecourse in the West
• Betview – Best Newcomer to the Betting Industry.
