Contract Details

• Design and construct remediation of 24 acre former waste tip, with extensive underlying mineworkings
• Site clearance, including removal and on site burial of 20,000m³ of Knotweed
• Dynamic compaction/ground improvement using Landpac
• 200,000 m³ of cut/fill to form development plateaus, for retail and new Scarlets rugby stadium. All earthworks design undertaken in-house
• Extensive Drilling and grouting of former mine workings with injection of 16,000 t of grout
• Capping to 13No shaft and adits
• Construction of three large balancing ponds and associated structures
• Earthworks and capping to roads infrastructure
• Landscaping, including formation of a wetlands habitat
